GC for mom - travel back to India

Hi

I will be applying for my mom's GC (while she is in the US). She intends to travel back to India. 

1. When I file her application, if I file for AP, then will she be able to travel back to India after AP approval?

2. How long does it take to receive AP - this is Seattle

3. When will she have to come back to US - is there a time / duration limit of stay in India while GC is being processed here?

AP is taking a very long time. AOS is taking a very long time. During this time she will be confined here. Apply for her GC via Consular Processing, which is foolproof,and the total time frame is about a year

It takes about a year to get the Immigration Visa. Other than that it is your call. Good luck.

Ideally, she should not travel on the b2 visa after the filing. There is a small chance of being sent back if their computers tell them the whole story.
