Mohammed_parvez
Hello, I am an indian citizen, I came to US on F1 studet visa , i got my F1 visa stamp from Doha, Qatar, Now i am on H1B visa, i never got my H1B stamped, Can i go to canada for stamping, (this would be my change of status from F1 to H1B, i am my second half of H1B is already extended, 4th year is running). or i would need to go my country of origin (India) for stamping. If i can go to canada for stamping is there any particular US consulate i need to go or i can go any consulate/embassy in canada. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
Yes. Vancouver is good. Just keep in mind how you will face 221G. So home country is always BETTER. Quote Link to comment
User099
You can go to Canada. Just keep in mind the risks of going to a third country for visa stamp and if there are any delays you will have to stay there for an extended period of time. Quote Link to comment
