Raj2223
Can I use my previous employer's approved I-140 to file an H1B extension for my current employer, considering my job description changed slightly since my previous job (since approved I-140)? Secondly, is there a possibility that this would tigger a RFE? Quote Link to comment
User099
Yes, you can use the I140 from previous employer to file for extension with new employer provided it was approved for more than 180 days. You won't get an RFE for the job description change as the I140 is for a future job. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
If the I140 is more than 180 days then you can use that for new employer. If it is not 180 days then old employer might cancel it in that case you cannot use it. Quote Link to comment
Raj2223
Is there a way to check whether my previously approved I-140 is still valid or revoked by my previous employer? Quote Link to comment
User099
If you have the receipt number you can check it in USCIS.gov site Quote Link to comment
