H4 stamping

Hi,

im a h1b visa holder and filed for my extension on May in premium along with h4 for my wife. My h1b petition was approved  till December 2019 but my wife h4 is still not approved it in process.Now we both went to India and I went for stamping and got visa stamping till December 2019 . 

1. Can my wife go for h4 stamping with my i797 ( her h4 i797 is not yet approved )

2. If they ask her i797 what she should tell the officer ?

 

please help me with this question

1. Yes, she can go for stamping with your I-797.

2. She can show the receipt.
