Hello Sir, 

 

I have questions on amendment.

1. Do we need to file amendment for same location but different client?

2. Recently for contractors facing issues, we are not able to get long term projects to work, so duration its like 3 to 4 months. So for every 3-4 months, client changes. Its not good to apply H1B amendment for 3/4 months. Please let me know what is the solution for this.

 

My situation:

I am on H1B Visa. In 2018, I filed H1B amendment+extension and got approved for 3 years valid till 2020 for client A and location SFO,CA. 

Later my project ended on Mar 2019 and joined different client B for location Livermore CA. This client B project was only 3 months contract, so my employer filed only LCA on that time. 

Than I joined new client C for location Sunnyvale CA on 16th July. This client C mentioned long term contract so my employer filed LCA and H1B amendment, Now Amendment petition is in process. On 16th July the petition was sent to the USCIS and we got receipt in 10-15days.

This current client C fired me within a week. So I worked only 4 days for client C, Sunnyvale CA location.

Now I got offer for new client D for location SFO,CA. Now my previous H1B approval was SFO, CA for client A. Client A and Client D both are like 0.5 miles distance. 

Can I withdraw my petition which I filed for client C Sunnyvale CA?

In this case, do I still need to file Amendment ?

Can I withdraw my petition which I filed for client C Sunnyvale CA? - I guess Yes

In this case, do I still need to file Amendment ? - I feel Yes

If I withdraw the petition for client C Sunnyvale Location, than what will happen here?

Does it goes to previous H1B which is approved for Client A - San Francisco CA location? 

But I cannot to go Client A as this project ended, but I got new job offer say Client D and location is same San Francisco CA.

Do I still need to file H1B amendment? Please advise.
