varun8161 Posted August 5, 2019 Report Share Posted August 5, 2019 Currently at Company A, I got a offer from Company B, submitted docs for H1B transfer last week under premium, expecting H1B transfer complete by 8/20. I negotiated a 9/16 joining date with Company B. Can I resign Company A on 8/20(after my H1B transfer is done) and travel to India and return back before my joining date. What do I need to be careful about when entering back to US. has anyone done it ? Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach Posted August 6, 2019 Report Share Posted August 6, 2019 If you already have a valid visa stamped in your passport then you can go to India come back with new H1B approval copy. If you do not have valid visa you must go for stamping. Quote Link to comment
