My travel plan from US to India is 09/01/2019 to 09/30/2019. (not flexible date) Planning to take the vis stamping in 1st week of Sep(09/2019). My current I-797 is valid till 10/09/2019. My new I-797 is valid from 10/10/2019 till 10/09/2022. Visa stamping in my passport already expired on 10-SEP-2018. (so I have to appear in person for stamping). If new one is used, will I get visa stamped from 09/2019(stamping date) to 10/09/22, or (from 10/10/2019 till 10/09/2022)? If old is used, will they reject that, I have only 3-4 weeks pending in the visa? Quote Link to comment
