Vaishali shah
Hi, I am on l1b and it’s going to end by june29th 2019. My h1b got picked and I have a consular visa so need to leave the country and stamp h1b. But the problem is the acquisition that has happened recently needs amendment process. My green card process will start soon. my question is can amendment process invalidate my h1b? How much time will it take to get approval for amendment? In between I am missing on my kids school who is in 7th grade so can my wife come in F1 or Visitor visa will this cause any illegal issues with green card process? Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
my question is can amendment process invalidate my h1b? - No. How much time will it take to get approval for amendment? - It is a new process ( bit not lottery ) so standard times apply as in other H1B cases premium and non Quote Link to comment
Vaishali shah
Because of recent acquisition that has happened can I stamp my h1b without amendment process. I have h1b picked this year and need to do stamping as it is consular h1b. As amendment process takes time can I just skip that and get my h1b stamped.
