Amendment approved, original petition pending

Hi ,

I have received an RFE for the original petition in March and my amendment which was filed in Feb got approved today. 

• Do i still have to answer the original RFE?
• what happens if the Original petition is denied?  Can i still use my H1B Amendment petition. 
• Since amendment is an extension to the original petition , should that be approved as well?

Sorry I was not clear in my earlier message. 

 

I started working on a receipt with new employer.  My H1 transfer was initiated in December. Later in feb due to location change my employer filed an amendment .

In March when they upgraded my  transfer petition to premium I got an RFE which the lawyers are working on. 

Yesterday my H1 amendment petition got approved . 

• Do i still have to answer the original RFE?
• what happens if the Original petition is denied?  Can i still use my H1B Amendment petition. 
• Since amendment is an extension to the original petition , should that be approved as well?

Attorney said I could use the latest petition and I shouldn’t be bothered about the RFE.
