What happens to H4 EAD when H1B change jobs

I have an approved i140 waiting to get current. My wife is working using her H4 EAD. I am planning to change jobs. Can my wife continue to work when I move to different employer. My new employer will initiate my labor certification immediately but it will take at least 6 months to get a renewed i140. Will my wife be able to work during this transition period?

Yes, she can work as long as the H-4 EAD is valid. No issues with your employer change.
