Anirud Posted February 11, 2019 Report Share Posted February 11, 2019 Hi, I am planning to travel to London in the month of May 2019 for a 10 day vacation. I am currently on H1B working for Employer A (I797 valid till SEP 2021, I94 valid till Aug 2020). Couple of months back my company A got acquired by company B. My company’s legal team says there is no need to reapply for a new H1B as I am legally still employed by company A (I do not understand this concept). I have a H1B visa stamp in my passport valid till Dec 2019 (which still has company C’s name who is my prior employer before I joined company B). I have three questions 1) May I know if I will have any problem since my company got acquired. 2) Is it ok to have Employer C in my visa stamp but I do not work for them anymore. Will there be any question when I enter 3) My green card perm application is in process. Is it ok to travel while the perm process is ongoing. Thnaks in advance Anirud Link to comment
