anotherH1B007
Hello All, My H1B visa expired on November 24. My I-94 expired on Dec 04. My visa extension by my current employer was filed in October. I have the following three questions: - Can another employer apply for a transfer of visa? - In case my extension is denied, can the other employer file for my extension on their behalf? If so, how? pontevecchio
Another H1 sponsor can apply for a H1 petition for you. Visa is an entry foil in your passport and is an entry document. The H1 petition approval determines your length of stay. Now any H1 petition filed for you can be only approved for "transfer" after the current extension is approved. Any company can file a H1 petition for you and get it approved . You will need to leave and return with a H1 visa stamp, existing or new if you do not have an existing visa stamp in your passport.
