Travel via BA with valid F1 visa

Hi,

I am traveling to India this month and I have a valid F1 visa (till 2020), however, i changed my status to H4 here in USA. I am going to India to get my H4 visa stamping. Will I be able to travel smoothly via British Airways since my layover is 3 hours 30 min in London? Please advise.

You are exempt from the DATV as you have a valid F1 visa. Your status in the USA is frankly none of their concern.
