H1B drop box stamping

Hi,

I am working for a client for 3 years and it was direct client to my employer until Jan 1, 2019. I got my extension before that and during my extension client gave me client letter. Now there is a vendor in between client and my employer. Vendor has given a letter saying I am working for them and for the client. Do I still need client letter for drop box?

For drop box you don't need it. But if they call you for a interview you will need it.
