Apply H4 Extension Of Stay Until COS is approved

Current Visa Status – H4 – Valid until – Feb 28 2019

Applied Change of Status (COS) – H4 to F1 – Receipt Notice Date – Dec 26 2017.

I am planning to visit my home country (India) for the F1 Visa stamping in January or February 2019 in case if my COS (H4 to F1) is not yet approved.  Please let me know whether apply for extension of stay or getting stamping in home country which would be better option.

Hi, If you apply for extension of status, the time it is taking is for extension is 12 to 15 months. How about applying for Bridge gap ?
