Made mistake in DS-160 mother date of birth 5 years ago

Hi, 

I came to US on F1 visa 5 years ago from India and while filling the DS-160 form I had filled my mom date of birth to be in XXXX. My mom has got passport with date of birth to be XXXX+4 (Years). Now i am planning to go for H1-B Stamping visa interview and now what should i enter in new DS-160 form ? I guess it should be what my mother has on her passport. If the VO asks me that what is the reason of this discrepancy. What should I explain ?

It should be the same as in her passport. You can just admit it was a mistake.
