Dhanasekar Posted July 20, 2018 Report Share Posted July 20, 2018 Hi, My H1 is going to expire on 12/31/2018 and I have started my H1 extension process for myself alone. My wife is also staying with me in US and I have processed H1 separately for my wife thru private consultant and it got picked in the lottery. But, yesterday her case went into RFE. My question is if I process H4 extension for her now and if her H4 approved after her H1 got approved, then will her H4 status will override her new H1 status? If so I nee to submit I-539 form to convert from H4 to H1? Link to comment
