Ramesh7983
Hi I lost job and was able to find job by 60day grace period. Company b has initiated transfer and I started working on just FedEx delivery receipt.( Had no choice, was without job). Now my question is Employer A might revoke h1b. Am I good as transfer petition is already filed and I have started working and might receive receipt number before I receive h1b revoke from employer A. How long does it take to get transfer receipt I n regular processing. Is there anyone who used 69days grace period and receive rfe or consular notification. If yes your experience please.. JoeF
H1 revocation by the old employer is completely irrelevant for you. The employer is required by law to inform USCIS that you no longer work there. Link to comment
pontevecchio
H1 revocation of an ex employee is mandated by law and has nothing to do with you. Link to comment
Centepede
You can join on receipt. Revoking your previous H1 by previous employer has no proceedings on the petition filed by by your current employer. If there is RFE for your petition by current employer you can still continue working. But, if that's rejected then you may have different set of problems to deal with. Link to comment
LeaveMessageH1B
I believe you can not start on "FedEx delivery receipt", receipt has to be from USCIS acknowledging they have received your application and assign you a tracking number. Make sure about this with attorney of your new employer, I could be wrong about this. Link to comment
