Aamani
I am currently a student at Georgia Tech. I am on H4 visa but I turn 21 this July. I applied for COS to F1 in October and the current processing times for H4 to F1 is 9-12 months. Do I need to be worried that I won't get my COS approval before I turn 21? Link to comment
pontevecchio
Consider leaving and returning with the F1 visa. Talk to your DSO first. Georgia Tech is a well known place and you should have no trouble getting the F1 visa. Link to comment

But you can get an F1 visa abroad, and use that visa to enter in F1 status. No COS required. Link to comment
