Use EAD for the first time in port of entry

Hi,

I'm on H1 visa and going to home country for a vacation and will be going to embassy for stamping (for visa extension). I also have a valid EAD which I havent used as I'm staying with the same employer.

I want to know if in case my visa stamping gets rejected, can I come back to US with the EAD (its a dual card which also serves a AP).

Yes. You can use AP. First time users may be sent to secondary Inspection which adds a few minutes to the process.
