Company is willing to move GC to EB1 but how?

Hi Everyone,

I completed my MS from US in 2007 and have been on H1B since then. My company filed for my green card in EB2 and I have a priority date of April 2012. Given the long wait to get a green card, my company is willing to do whatever it takes to move my application to EB1 but we dont have any foreign offices that they can move me as a manager so they've asked me to explore other options and just reading online and on this forum, I haven't really found any viable options. Has anyone had any success with porting from EB2 to EB1 and wouldnt mind sharing any details, I would really appreciate it.

Do you qualify for EB1 as per the guidelines.

If you think you have a chance then get a lawyer involved to give you an idea.

Not sure if you managed to pursue this option but priority date for EB1 has moved back to Jan 2012. This route is not going to work anymore.

Downgrading to Eb3 from Eb2 is the latest trend because of the reverse drain...lol....
