Cwan Posted March 17, 2018 Report Share Posted March 17, 2018 Hello. I am working in the US on a L1 visa and my family is under a L2 visa. We applied for I140, I131, I765 and I485. The I-485 is pending for more than 180 days, the I140 is approved, the I765 is also approved for all os us, and the I131 was approved for my 2 kids and myself. I am planning to change employer using the portability faculty but my husband had his I131 denied as he travelled abroad using his L2 visa while the I131 approval was pending. What will be the implication for my husband if I change employer as he has the I131 denied? Is it only the inability to re-entry the US if he travels abroad or is there any other implication in relation to ours I485 filing? Also, is it possible to file a new I131 for him while the I485 is pending? thank you Link to comment
