Job with DUI record on H1B

I am in a very messed up situation. Last year i was arrested for dui and currently i am into informal probation of 6 months. After that it will be sealed. But my project is also ending and i will start my marketing soon. Can someone out there gone through similar situation ? Is it going to be impossible/ tough to get a job ? Client is also willing me to offer a job but i have not discussed anything with them abiut my situation.

And yes i made a mistake and i regret it but i need some suggeation.

It depends on whether you will work in a sensitive area like finance and whether your job needs you to drive and also whether your employer will do a full background check. Tell the client about what happened without pontificating and without laments.
