prakashvj
Hi, My in-laws are eligible for drop box for their existing visitor visa renewal. They have visited the Hyderabad consulate last week and have submitted the fingerprints. Today they have received a call with follow up email stating that they have to visit again for fingerprints and consulate interview. Here is the text of the email “Thank you for submitting your documents for the Interview Waiver Program at the VAC office Hyderabad. However, to process your visa application we would like to let you know that your case needs further review and requires you to come to the Consulate for fingerprints and interview. We request you to carry all the required supporting documents for the interview process” Why have they called for an interview? What is expected for the coming up interview? What they have to prepare for? what are the supporting documents to carry for an interview? Thanks Jyothi Link to comment

pontevecchio
They will mention documents to bring if any. Be patient and have them go for the interview. Link to comment

Sri Maruthi
Hello Jyothi, Could you please tell your in-laws visa interview experience on this. My mother recently gave her finger prints at VFC center but now she got an email exactly like your in-laws asking for consular interview and finger prints. Please help. Sri Maruthi
Also, how do we request for language interpreter in such case ? Because the consular office set the interview date and time, I am not sure how to request for interpreter. Link to comment
