krishcrown
It looks like USCIS will not process my mother’s B1 visa extension before her I-94 expires. She doesn’t want to risk the chance of being out of status, so she is planning to leave the US. Morethan likely her B1 extension will be approved in a month or two. Can she come back to the US right after her extension gets approved? Or will it create a problem at the port of entry? She is not proficient in English at all. So if this becomes complicated, she is not planning to come back for at least six months. Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Link to comment
pontevecchio
Her application for extending her status is nullified by leaving as there is no status to extend. Have her return after one full year back home. Scrutiny is at an all time high and she risks getting sent back or being given a one month I94 with NO EOS/COS notation if she comes back in one month.
