No lastname on Passport - FNU on H4 Visa

Hello All,

My wife is not having any lastname on her passport and got her H4 visa stamped recently. Visa was issued with firstname as FNU and her actual name from passport was print as lastname on Visa.

As of now, she is currently in India.

In case, if she gets a lastname added on the passport (from India), does she need to go for a Visa stamping again (current visa is valid till 2020).

If there is no need of visa stamping, will there be any issues during port of entry?

Can you please suggest the best way? Should we fix the lastname now itself or to get it fixed later when she applies for the renewal of passport?
