Re- Marrying Query

HI there,

 

I was married to US citizen almost 5 years ago, I got my permanent Green Card and I am a Citizen now. However, it did not work out between us and we are divorced now. Got divorced this month and we have been living separately since January. 

 

If I wish to marry someone else, can I file for her? Will that be an issue?
