I94 Expired

Hi,

 

My I94 is expired in Nov 2016 and my H1B is valid till Dec 2017, I am applying for an Extension and noticed that when i visited in India last year in March 2016 CBP officer has given me the i94 only till End of 2016.

 

Now i am Out of status past 6 months, please help me what would be the best approach to get the help and come back to status.

1. My i140 is approved in 2017 March, will this have an impact in future.

2. If i file a Nunc Pro Tunc - H1B, am i authorized to work till USCIS give its decision and will i be Out of status till that point.

3. If i go back to India, does the 3 years bar will implies to me the moment i left the port.

4. Can i do a H1 transfer/Extension and Nunc Pro Tunc - H1B at the same time.
