peppermint
My mother and Brother's family with three kids have plans to come to USA on visitor visa B1/B2 in mid april 2017. I heard about the issues for H1B and GC holders denied entry at port of entry. Has anyone heard of same issues for visitors as well? Link to comment
Altras
Did not hear yet, might hear soon. but you can try to postpone your plans as it is not recommended now until summer. Link to comment
mojo123
Interesting how we are only "hearing issues" but nobody who has personally experienced has reported it here. By April, the situation will be clearer, and you can make a decision accordingly. Of course, if your family has an option to postpone their plans, then they should by all means. But at least as of now, there is nothing telling if postponing until summer would be a better idea or worse. One thing for certain is that, I have not heard of anyone yet who was denied entry on H1B and GC, and I have at least 3 examples (my friends) who just came back to US without facing any additional scrutiny than they would have normally faced. pontevecchio
Only people from the small list in the EO by the fuhrer were in any case affected. By all means your family can come over whenever they want including April. Link to comment
