USPS messed up GC

I know you guys always helped me and Thanks for you advises.

 

I am suppose to receive my GC by Aug-11-2014 as per USPS tracking id, which i am able to get 2 days ago from USCIS.

After having heated discussion with USPS i came to know that they misplaced or lost my card .However online status says "Out for delivery and status didn't update since Aug-11. "

 

I have received my welcome notice for 485 approval and also my wife received the GC with welcome notice .

 

Could you please advise me what can i do next?Is USCIS sent another card as it's not deliver to my address.If i filled I-90 form then will i need to pay fee ?

Your GC has been approved. If you did not receive it make an INFOPASS appointment and decide what to do.

You would have to file an I-90 for a replacement card.

I've had the experience with USPS misplacing mail a couple months ago as well. Not much you can do.

I had a similar personal experience with something else in the mail. I saw the status as "Delivered" and I couldn't find it anywhere. I thought they probably just marked it as "Delivered" to comply with their 2-Day delivery SLA. And, I guess I was right. They delivered my mail the next day.

so, I would advise, dont have any heated argument with usps, and with anyone in general. Wait patiently for a couple of days and if still do not recieve it, you can blame it on USPS.
