AJS_CS Posted July 13, 2017 Report Share Posted July 13, 2017 Hello Spouse have valid H4 documents until January 2018. Husband have H1B valid documents until 2020. Green card status-employment based EB1A application: I140 approved - Feb 2017 I485 filed March 2017 EAD/AP card received - May 2017. I am expecting the green card approval between October-December 2017. If we did not receive the green card by january 2018, what will happen to dependent wife's (H4 documents expire by end of january 2018) immigration status; she need to go back to India?; or she can stay in USA based on her pending I485 application.
