wannabeimmigrant
Hi, I will be applying my I-485 in the near future (yay!!) but I have a question about the past. In 2002 my employer did not pay for a month and so I found a new employer who sponsored my H1B. (I don't know if my previous employer revoked my H1B. I did complain to Dept. of Labor and got my money and have paper trail). I started work with new employer immediately after the H1B was filed. However, after 5.5 months the petition was approved but I had to do consular processing back in my home country due to lack of paystubs. I had no problem in obtaining visa and coming back. Since then I have many H1B extensions approved and have left the country and been back many times. My concern now is that will the AOS processing now be denied due to the issues in 2002? Your thoughts on this topic are welcome. Thanks for your help. Link to comment
pontevecchio
Since you subsequently left and came back, you have no problems. Link to comment
