OCI legal proof of wife whose H4 in process

I am on H1B and my extension is in process. My wife was in H1B until the beginning of April and she quit her job to take care of our newborn. We did apply for her H4 COS through my employer's law firm during the last week of march.

Now i am in the process of applying OCI for my daughter and we are required to provide a proof of my wife's legal status. Her H4 is still in process. What kind of document can i provide?

You need to wait for her H-4 approval. OCI office does not accept receipts.

Thanks for the response. Can i show her H1B approval? Although she is not employed now, her H1 is valid until 2 years from now.
