Vika Posted May 1, 2017 Report Share Posted May 1, 2017 Hi, I used a lawyer to help file my AOS and received a rejection. I would like to file again but without a lawyer. Is the lawyer tied to the AOS submission since it was rejected? Do I need to notify the USCIS that I am representing myself prior to submitting the application again? Or do I need to submit a g-28 and indicate on the form that I am representing myself? Note: The lawyer submitted a g-28 form several months prior to the AOS filing. Link to comment

Vika Posted May 2, 2017 Author Report Share Posted May 2, 2017 We didn't use the latest version of the forms. The lawyer didn't catch this and so we do not want to work with him anymore. We would rather file the AOS ourselves. Link to comment
