veeran
Hello I am on H1B and been with a reputable company for past 5 years,my visa expired Aug 2018.I have plans to go to India mid Apr and return early may for a personal reason.I have had a DUI ten years before (2008) and all the court proceedings were finished and case was closed at the end.But every time I travel back to USA obviously I go through the second screening and I am allowed to enter. My question is regarding the new Travel ban and stringent H1b scrutiny that will my situation be a potential candidate for any kind of surprises? Also I am married to a US citizen with a new born but I oped to stay with my employer H1b and family will be accompanying me as well. POE is SFO. Any expert advice? Thanks in advance. Link to comment

veeran
At this point the above reply doesn't help.Expecting a answer on question posted. Thanks Link to comment
pontevecchio
The travel ban does not apply to India and in any case has a permanent injunction against it. H1 scrutiny does not affect you as you are working for a reputable company. Again when you return, become a citizen. You will not face this problem in future if you do. Link to comment
