Dnatarajan
My parents have a valid visitors visa that expires in 2022. Currently their Green Card is being processed. Mom got her I-130 approved and is waiting for interview with a US Consulate in India. Dad had to respond to a Request for Evidence and is waiting on I-130 approval. I am currently pregnant and expecting my baby in a month. Our lawyer is advising against my parents traveling to the US on visitor visa while their Green Card is being processed. I need my parents for help with the delivery. Should they take the risk of traveling to the US in this situation? Is there a chance they might get turned away at the airport and that may affect their green card process? Thank you, Devi. Link to comment
pontevecchio
I would strongly suggest that you follow the lawyers take specially in view of the climate of hostility we come across nowadays. The worst case scenario would be denying them entry. Link to comment
