sanyasharma
Hello All, I read about the interview waiver program (https://www.vfs-usa....aticWebPage.pdf) Can anyone who got their H1B visa stamping done in the recent past at the Mumbai Consulate please share your experience; if you were waived for the interview? I applied for a H1B renewal in 2011 (from within the US and is valid till 2014). This visa has not been 'stamped' since I did not step out of the country after I got my renewed H1B visa. Do I have to just send my documents or should I still book an interview date? Thanks! Link to comment
sbalasu3
That is only applicable for dependent visas like H4 and L2. Not for H1/Work Visas. Link to comment
sanyasharma
Thanks. Is that called out on the website? I don't see it. Link to comment
westindies
if you read it carefully, it clearly says its for H4, L2, B1/B2 , J2 only. Link to comment
sbalasu3
Its not explicitly mentioned. But implicitly it has the meaning. Look at the questions they ask. If u answered, yes, then you are eligible. If you are on H1/L1, you will answer 'No' to question 5. Also refer to Murthy.com news on this. http://www.murthy.com/news/n_viwp2y.html Link to comment
