EAD - Employer change

Hi,

 

I'm working with Employer X and has valid H1 till December 2017 based in EB3 140 approval. I processed my GC thru Employer Y under EB2 category and got EAD by porting the EB3 date. My attorney is suggesting to move Employer Y in order to avoid RFE during 485 approval. 

 

My concern is whether to move employer Y based on EAD or file new H1. Attorney is suggesting its safe to move Employer Y on H1 so if any thing happens to 485, i dont need to go back to my home country.

 

My priority date is August 2008 and in Feb'2016, this date will become Final Action date.

 

please suggest what are the best options to move to Employer Y.

 

1. Move based on EAD.

2. Move based on H1. This will be long process as i have to file H1 and get letters from client and prepare all the documentation.

3. Stick with Employer X and respond to RFE during 485 stage if any.
