F1 CPT to H4 EAD visa interview in india

Hi, 

 

COS from F1 to H4 in US , EAD approved. I was working on F1 CPT and now on EAD for same employer.

 

I am travelling to india for H4 stamping, What all documents should i take with me. Any suggestions Please

Was that legitimate CPT, i.e., an integral part of the curriculum?

Legitimate CPT is very rare, and people who take legitimate CPT usually get good advice from the school's DSO.

H4 i797, copy of H1 i797 and Marriage certificate - that's all needed for H4 stamping.

But in your case, you may be scrutinized for being in CPT, carry all i20s including CPT i20s. And be prepared for answering about your employment.

And answering questions about the legitimacy of the CPT. That's where this likely is going to fail. Legitimate CPT is very rare.
