H4 EAD Travel

I've applied for my wife's H4 EAD and her receipt date is Oct 1^st, 2015. She is planning to go to India in January 2016 and she has to go to US Consulate to get H4 Visa.

 

1.       If she doesn’t get H4 EAD approved before January, is it OK to travel or not while the H4 EAD is pending? Will she have any issues for the US Visa Stamping or at the port of entry because her H4 EAD is pending?

 

2.       If she gets the H4 EAD approved before January, I think she is OK to travel. I don’t see any issues with US Visa Stamping or at the port of entry because of H4 EAD, but just wanted to ask the question to confirm?
