EAD renewal for my wife taking more than 75 days

Hi All,

 

In July I applied for a EAD renewal for my wife (based on pending I-485 status). I got the I-797C from Texas service center during 3rd week of July. But the new EAD card has not still come. The case status still says "My case was received" - no further updates. 

 

Her EAD is expiring on 26th October and She is about to begin her employment next week. I am really concerned that if I don't get the new Card, she may not continue with her employer (after lot of struggles she got this job). What options do I have ? Can I request to expedite the processing ? Will I get something like an interim card from USCIS ?

USCIS isn't giving interim EAD cards any more. To expedite the process create a SR in the comments mention that you got a new job offer and need EAD
