lakers646 Posted September 20, 2015 Report Share Posted September 20, 2015 I am currently planning to file H4 EAD to my wife . Here are the few questions I have 1. My current H1B (even H4 of my wife) is expiring on oct 23rd 2015. I recently filed for the extension and got approval for 3 years. The validity(of H1 extension) starts from oct 24th 2015. So, should I sent the current copy of I797 (which will b expired on oct 23rd 15) or the recent approved one which is starting from oct 24 2015 as a supporting document . 2. When my wife arrived to US she says she was not given any I-94 . In that case can I use the copy of the I-94 available on the the homeland security protal?. The reason why I am asking this question is When I was finding out the procedure to file an H4 EAD application, I read we need to send copy of I-94 front and back. But the I-94 which we download from homeland security portal will have one PDF page. Please let me know. Thanks for your time Link to comment
