Updated I94 while H4-EAD still in process

Hi,

 

I have applied for H4 EAD on May 29th,2015. At the time, I had my I94 valid until 15 dec 2015 though my H4 visa validility was until 16 Dec 2016. Recently, I visited canada for a family visit and got my I-94 stamped valid until 16 Dec 2016.  Was wondering if I have to send my recent I-94 as I'm still waiting for my EAD to USCIS or I have to apply for the extension after get my new EAD.
