geetabora
I am working on H1b for a client from past 5 years. My contract with this client is ending on April 2015. Before taking another contract job I am planning to go to india for 2 months. (It's been 6 years i cudn't go to my home country) I have question when in india I will go for stamping I wont have Client letter as my contract already ended. What document my employer should provide me instead of client letter so that I dont have issues in visa stamping...... also in port of entry i dont face issues. My employer is saying if i go to india after my contract ends with this client he will have to file fresh petition as in this petition he has my client name..is this correct?? I am so confused..please help. Link to comment
jairichi
Yes, employer has to file a H1B amendment due to change in client and on approval you can approach US consulate with all required documents. Link to comment
