nirdes
I was on F1 Visa . I graduated and joined employer A on OPT. I got my H1B starting 1st Oct 2011 with same employer A. I transferred my H1B on Nov 2012 and started working for Employer B with Valid I94 - expire Nov 2015. I havent travelled outside USA since Oct 2011. Is it mandatory to have H1B stamping for first 3 years ? I am planning to travel to India in Dec 2014 and get my H1B stamping done. Please help if you are aware with the rules. Thanks, Nir Link to comment

jairichi
There is nothing called mandatory stamping within 3 years on H1B. You can travel anytime and then go for needed stamping. Link to comment
anilbeereddy
The is no such thing as mandatory years to get your visa stamping. If you have valid visa and you can stay in the country on legal status until the visa is expired where as if you have any travel plans out of USA then you need to have valid stamped visa for re-entry into the country. nik125
if you travel outside USA you have to do stamping for reentering. if you do not travel outside USA you do not need to do. Ir respectively it is first 3 yrs or second or third 3yr Link to comment
