mightyaussie
Hi, My H1-B is expiring in Oct 2014 . Can I apply for H1-B extension with my current company A and at the same time apply for H1-B transfer with another company B? Will there be any problem? Please let me know if I am missing anything here or anything that I have to keep in mind before proceeding Thanks for the help Link to comment

SameerH1Bworker
no issue. you can have multiple H1B petition at the same time, it is upto you when to join or not join new employer. Even after new employer's H1B transfer gets approved, you can say no to join that employer and continue with current employer. Link to comment
jairichi
you can say no to join that employer and continue with current employer. What you said is correct, provided OP has not signed any documents that is legally binding in his state. Link to comment
