harsh1234
Hi, My company provided me wrong e-verification number twice because of which my OPT Ext got denied. My company is trying to rectify it and file Motion to Reopen with correct information this time with all related documents. 1. My company is letting me work while the motion is being filed but since I do not have status, can I work with them? 2. What are my other options to stay in the country if the Motion to Reopen gets denied as well? 3. What are the chances for the motion to get approved this time if we provide the correct information on time? Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you. Link to comment
rahul412
MTR doesn't provide any legal status. So you cannot work for that employer. Moreover, I doubt whether your employer is e-verified. How can he give you wrong number "twice"?? Link to comment
JoeF
It seems the company is not e-verified at all. Providing a wrong number twice is beyond incompetence. And you have to stop working. an MTR doesn't allow you to work. Link to comment
