kaarthikvm
I am currently residing in Chennai,India. On March 13,2013, I have appeared for USA L1B blanket Visa interview and got denied. After a cooling period of 6 months, my employer wants to reapply for the same. Hence I will apply for L1B and decided to appear in the end of October 2013. I have few queries regarding the L1B visa process 1. Since I am reappearing for second time, if it gets rejected again. Can I reapply for L1B again after a cooling period of 6 months. Or Do I have to wait for another year to apply for any kind of L1 category as it gets rejected second time. 2. Will second time L1B rejection has any affect on H1B visa processing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance Link to comment
Attorney_23
There is no required 'cooling off period' to reapply for an L-1 visa. However, given the previous denial, it may make more sense to file a straight petition rather than applying through an employer's Blanket. The evidentiary standard for applying under a Blanket is higher than the standard when applying through the USCIS. Link to comment
