p1982 Posted June 18, 2013 Report Share Posted June 18, 2013 I am on my 2nd H1B visa. I have been with the same company now for 5 years. MY fiancee lives in a different city and I have been planning for moving there for sometime now. My question is that my company has started my GC process and have done the Labor application and they are asking me for a 1 year contract for filing I140 application. My fiancee's PD is March 2012. My question is that does it make sense to start my I140 here on premium processing and get my own PD or wait to move there to my fiancee( I am getting married soon) and get on his PD. What happens if his PD doesnt move as expected because my h1 expires in Sept 2015. What will be my status after that if his PD doesn'e get current until the. ANy input/suggestion would be highly valued. Thanks Link to comment
