jithsh1b
I am on H-1B and in the process of changing my job. I will be joining my new employer on the 1st of July. I have three weeks of vacation in my current company that they are ready to pay if I am on their rolls for three more weeks after July 1. My questions is since I will start working for the new employer from July 1, can I be on the payroll of my current employer after July 1st even if if it for vacation? Thank you for helpful responses. JoeF
You need to get paid by the old employer according to the labor laws. They can't do things like "only if you stay on payroll." Link to comment
t75
Most companies pay accrued benefits once an employee leaves; how they choose to term it may vary by company. There should be no issue. Link to comment
